Outdoor and in our own Chapel
Both the elegant hotel building and its famous Chapel were built in 1952 commissioned by Delmir de Caralt, a filmmaker, following the style of the traditional Catalan farmhouses.
His passion for nature and hiking brought him to this stunning spot, where he promoted the construction of an intimate Chapel in Neo Romanic style.
This hermitage, is devoted to Saint Bernat de Menthon, the Saint Patron of alpinists and mountaineers, who consecrated his life, with the help of this dogs, to guide and support, those who had to cross the Alps in the s.XI enduring extreme conditions. His calling for service inspires us.
